I always thought it was funny how lasers from weapons were so much slower than our bullets.

As such, things in the Star Wars Universe aren’t obligated to follow ‘our’ laws of Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. A Blaster in the Star Wars Universe works however George Lucas ( and now, Kathleen Kennedy ) says it does, no more, no less.[/i]
