His intent was to unfound us. In his manifesto, he intentionally was trying to demonize many aspects of our life by using it the wrong way.
The 2nd amendment, memes, our media. He did all of this to break us and send us into chaos. While most acts of terrorism occur to prove a point, this was a deliberate attack on global culture. An attack on the left and the right, make no mistake. One with the attempt to DIVIDE US FURTHER racially and ideologically.
We cannot fall victim to this, or it will only inspire others. Do not name him, do not talk about it, don’t let them have the publicity and even give others the opportunity to sympathize with them in the slightest. While the media needs to follow those principles, it’s the only thing we can do to help.

Yea, the dude in New Zealand who killed Muslims there is clearly trying to undermine the US constitution
-
You didn’t read his manifesto did you? This isn’t some whack job conservative conspiracy, it’s his actual intent to create division so that the white race is “preserved” or something. As deluded as he was: an Australian that goes to New Zealand to kill Muslims to further the White race in Europe and with a strange emphasis on setting the United States further against themselves.
-
So he legitimately wanted to mess with the US? That's just silly, he's silly
-
Amongst many things. His manifesto included the Navy Seal copypasta and that he radicalized by playing Spyro. Very disturbing.
-
So basically he's 4chan in human form
-
Yeah some incel on 4chan who was brain damaged...
perhaps you could join the void...
-
He posted what he was going to do on 8chan, who apparently lapped it up with glee.
-
Exactly that

I will stand alongside anyone of any class, faith or race who will also denounce supremacy, nationalism, terrorrism and tyranny. Everyone should always remember, as they go about their day, that the people you see around you are not your enemy in any way, unless they support the things i listed above. "First they came for my enemy, and i said nothing. Then they came for my neighbor, and i said nothing. Then they came for my friends and family, and i said nothing. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak to." I remember a Holocaust survivor saying something similar to this, wish i could find it.

Just quick side-note, nationalism in its self isn't a bad thing. It is when people start using it as an excuse for things(elitism, irrational actions), that is when it gets bad. On the the surface, nationalism is just pride in a single country/ a group identity, and it can be a positive. What you might be thinking of is radical nationalism. (e.g. I will invade your country because I am superior, No non-insertcountry allowed!).
but who cares at this point anyways
-
-blam!- alert. Your born into Nationalism you dumb ass
-
The f you say to me?
-
Oh I’m not saying forget it at all. Their intent was to deliberately divide people, so we can’t get into political arguments when this should be a bipartisan issue, and we also can’t let them think they had a impact on culture.
-
Agreed. I just want people to think about this in every day life more often. It will never be enough to not take the side of hatred. If good people remain silent too long the tyrants will come for them eventually. Nationalists/Supremacists cannot keep power without fear. If they ever achieve their of goal of ethnically clean Populism, they will have to invent fear to keep their followers in line. The first people they will go after are the silent majority that did not consent, but also did nothing to stop it.
-
This isnt directed at you specifically, but I remember making this exact point RE ISIS and actual Muslims. For anyone who ever argued with me over that, but agrees with the sentiment here - have you learned anything?

-
Agreed. Talked about as a problem that needs a solution, but we can’t let him succeed in his deliberate attempt to divide people and we can’t let him get the publicity he desperately wants.
