Spotify still running does not confirm anything. Spotify is streaming audio, so if you're having stability issues and are losing packets, the worst you might notice in Spotify is a brief drop in audio quality, and even then, it might not be noticable. That same packet loss, however, is enough to get you disconnected from Destiny. There are no servers. You are the server.

 • 'YOU ARE THE SERVER'... dafuq??? YOU the network police or something? Where you monitoring my Wi-Fi signal strength or something? Unless you have a screenshot of the apps you used to monitor and measure what my Wi-Fi signal strength was during the time it happened and can give me a network diagnostic....I'm really not tryna hear such a fickle excuse What you said literally makes no since , when I literally just said OTHER NETWORK BASED APPS , including SPOTIFY were working my guy... Netflix just ruined your point because I literally opened that and watched BIG MOUTH... fact is when MY Wi-Fi/internet actually malfunctions... stream apps of ANY kind have a network error and won't open... Gtfo with that shit

 • You're not helping your case, you're just making it clearer, and clearer that you don't know how Destiny handles network connections. Any time you're in an activity, either you, or one of the other players in the game with you at the time are acting as the host/server. Because of this, Destiny is incredibly sensitive to network instability, which can disconnect you from the game, but can leave other things, like Netflix working just fine, because, as I said, those are streaming services, and Destiny is not.

 • Niether are you dude.... "How Destiny handles network connections".... hmmm interesting statement “Every activity in Destiny 2 is hosted by one of our servers,” said Matt Segur, engineering lead on the game, in a post on Bungie’s website...via an article from polygon.....hmmm very interesting And the article continues with "That’s different from Destiny, where one player would serve as the host console in each multiplayer session."  I though you said their weren't any servers and that I'm the server... But the systems engineer just said... "every activity is hosted by one of our servers" and explains how their system is a hybrid or peer to peer connection with basically validates it takes two to tango... the strength of my connection and the ability of bungie and their servers in handling that connection.... We can just agree to disagree on this and I much rather have a computer/system engineer from Bungie break down how the system works honestly... Literally just said "YOU'RE the server" No my guy... this isn't D1 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
