Well, personally I think magnificent howl needs adjusting, (precision damage only, no cheesy two taps) That said, there are plenty of better options out there for QP, I slay out with ace and shock n awe.... or redrix vestian.... or last word fate cries... If anything it would lead to a needed rebalancing

They could make the quests available in QP but longer, they could also make them QP quests and just have cosmetic rewards for comp so you're not just rewarding sweaties. Putting weapons behind comp doesn't help anything when most feel discouraged when looking at the state of the game as it is. Bungie didn't exactly balance much recently anyway weapon wise, it's the same meta as before minus NW.
