Virminks are wildlife created by the Orokin to inhabit Venus. With the thawing of the Orb Vallis region, many Virminks have reappeared, and many Corpus have begun poaching them in response (and profit, they always want profit). Thanks to local conservation efforts assisted by Tenno forces, many Virminks have been saved from the Corpus in manners such as this.
