Gambit prime thumbs up
Gambit prime feels like an endgame activity and that’s awesome.

15 RepliesHow ? Constant invaders. Harder enemies. One Map. Sounds like a half baked idea rushed out in a hurry, to me. It’s repetitive. It’s dull. The rewards are....meh!. End game, when beaten, should give a sense of achievement. Not a sense of “Was that it ?”.... If you like it then good for you but I’m not sure many will agree.

Yep, enjoying it too. One thing that needs adjusting though is the amount of healing that the prime evil gets from invader kills. A good invader can heal a prime evil almost entirely which is grossly unfair given how much health it has compared to normal gambit. Needs to be at least half what it currently is, then the mode is pretty much there.

It will get old faster than a strike. It's also a chore.

5 RepliesThe invasion kills should not heal the prime that much. It makes the matches go on too long considering people are constantly invading. I know I’ve only played two matches, but I did win both of them.

It is good, however. What really grinds my gears is when there are two - three people killing an enemy for a motes and you have 13-14 motes and they have 2-3 motes and they are racing you to pick them up, jeez man pay attention. Or if you are on tour last deposit before the primevil, and you only need about 2-5 motes to summon, for the love of god let the guys with 10-15 deposit, this whole mode has got me questioning my faith in humanity, these are the exact reason why you will never see match making in raids Use your heads people

3 RepliesEdited by Reclaimer: 3/9/2019 3:55:08 PMMatches last too long because of the invasion-to-damage phase ratio (and this is spoken from the perspective of one who mainly plays as the Invader), and it’s essentially a game of “shoot gamers with heavies”, or “just get killed by heavies while you use normal guns”. I’d probably have few valid complaints if not for those two factors. I enjoy it despite the setbacks, but that’s only because I’m just [i]barely[/i] good enough to fight with the handicap of not using/having heavies 25/7 like everyone else. For someone [i]below[/i] or [i]at[/i] average skill level? It’s probably really, [i]really[/i] annoying. I’d* also like to know why they’re drip feeding maps. Why was only one map ready on release?

I like that it doesn’t matter as much if you’re a solo player, like me, getting stacked against a four stack. So far, the match made teams I’ve been on have done really well.

I kinda prefer it to regular gambit, mainly because it feels like it goes so much quicker. I like the whole one round business.

Its frustrating, entertaining and great to play.... yes it may go on a bit to long but it adds to the frustration and determination to kill that prime evil. Theres an invader what seems every 30 secs, your motes get eaten up if you cant kill incoming fast enough, but when you finally kill that prime evil you actually think you ve achieved summit, i love it n hate it..... its great

yeah it's good, and I'm not even a huge Gambit fan. It's not perfect, but a step in the right direction.
