Usually I would say "if nobody complains the game doesn't improve" unfortunately this is Bungie who more along the line with this sequel follow "If everyone complains then the game doesnt improve and we are fine."

The only thing I hate is this drip feed power increase.

You must have very low standards, and you must also hate anyone that shares a different opinion than you that has no issues sharing it. Go back to your bubble, and make sure that the cotton wool is wrapped nice and tight to protect you from everything.
