One man, Joseph Staten, was the inspiration behind this game’s story and lore. Unfortunately he left before release, and it has been downhill ever since. A brilliant mind, who created the Halo Universe as we know it, possibly one of the greatest gaming science fiction writers of his time. They are just feeding off of what was left of his work now, creating their own terrible story themes and butchering whole chunks of lore to fit it. We love you Joe!
