I personally like Anthem, so I don't care about it's metacritic rating at all. But, there's no way to know how many of the people reviewing it are people that have actually played the game and how many of them are internet trolls that are just trashing the game because they need to sheople up and follow the internet trend of the week.

You enjoy the game, that is fine, but that doesn't mean other people have to like it as well.
-
Are you stalking me? You seem kind of triggered or something.
-
No, I just happened to see OP's post and see this. I'm just sick of people getting triggered by other people disliking Anthem and other things in general.

A game doesn’t get a 60% metacritic because of a few trolls. Anthem’s scores aren’t helped by Fallout ‘76 and other games that launched in a terrible state. I think gamers are collectively tired of this.
-
I'm willing to bet at least 1/3 of the people rating it at metacritic never even played the demo, let alone the full game.
-
If you mean user scores, then you could be right. They are just the worst.

Metacritic don’t review games themselves. Metacritic has a user rating and a critic rating. The critic rating just takes all the critic reviews (like IGN, Gamespot etc.) and averages them out. So it’s pretty reliable in that regard. The user rating is where it’s likely to be unreliable. Anyone can create a troll account and leave a bad rating whether they played the game or not. It’s called review bombing and it’s done all the time. I wouldn’t trust user ratings at all.
