First off chill out. You didn’t get a masterworked drop. If your inventory is full and you try to pick up a drop, I’m sure you see the little masterwork effect animate across the weapon along with the big red X that let’s you know your inventory is full. This does not mean the weapon is masterworked. This means the animation is glitched to sometimes play when your inventory is full. So when it goes to your postmaster, it’s not “losing its masterwork” because it never was masterworked. If you deleted something in your inventory then picked it up it would be a regular weapon.

  • Okay so based of the research that I’ve done, this “glitch” has been an issue for the longest. Why hasn’t there been a fix for it so that people aren’t being mislead to thinking all the grind they have done is gone to waste when it shows as masterwork but it’s not. I also know how to get the curated roll for forge weapons, trust me. I have a couple of them but the one I really want and have been grinding for about a month just seems to elude me.

  • I personally think Bungie leaves it because they think it’s funny giving players the middle finger but who knows

  • Similar to the finger you see when picking up an exotic to find it’s a duplicate
