Hey cute...i remember people like you laughing at us warlocks for losing nova warp as a viable super...
Wonder how that feels fellow titan?

Is this in reference to the incoming skating nerf? Won't effect me, I skate legit by mashing buttons. Macros are for pussies
-
You can't skate by mashing anymore. Only way is to use the scroll wheel or macros.
-
No its, you've always been able to skate, just macros and/or mouse wheel break skating. Granted, it doesnt work a as well as in D1, you can still do it via button mashing. Don't say you can't because are talking to someone who has played titan since day D1 and is very practiced at it.
-
Yeah, no. I wouldn't even call that skating. Trust me, I've tried, it doesn't do much. You travel faster and farther by just pressing it once or twice. I didn't play much titan Back in D1 because their subclasses were too clunky and weak plus they had tiny T-rex hands, but I did know how to skate. It really isn't as hard as people set it out to be. Trying to skate on here fells terrible.

You played titan for a whopping 11 hours and 52 minutes in D1 and 1 hour and 24 minutes in D2. You have no idea what is possible except for what others say is or isn't possible. ROHLMAO

Edited by changy081: 2/10/2019 5:52:33 AMExactly, I already said I don't play titans a lot, bringing this up doesn't improve or help your argument. It's like a murderer confessing to the murders that he committed and you just shout in the court "HAH! THIS GUY ONLY KILLED 12 PEOPLE, While I Killed 50!" It's already out there, you don't need to repeat it. Titan as a class does not take over a hundred hours to master. It a low entry class, so is all the class. 11 hours is enough to learn a class and how it works. If you think it takes longer then you're pretty below average in terms of "Learning how to play a class." Listen here, I get what you're trying to do, you're trying to tie in my lack of play time on one class to devaluate my argument and make it seems smaller. That's fine and all but it doesn't work in this game. It's a good tactic don't get me wrong, your only problem is, you're playing a game with classes that have almost no depth in them what so ever. If this was a game like Diablo or LOL or any game that allows you to customize your character in depth then yes, it would work because these games have a lot of customization and a lot of min maxing, Destiny just doesn't have that. In destiny you have a subclass, grenades, jumps, and your class ability. Not all that interesting and most of the sublass tress don't change the way you play. Most class have the go to subclass for every situation. Your team needs better DPS? Throw on melting point. You're the only warlock and you don't have any titans to apply melting point? Then throw on WOR. There isn't that much depth so there aren't that many things to learn. Here, let me explain titans to you. All you need is rally barricade for the auto reload. melting point for those extra DPS. Any jump that sends you more forward than up. OEM for PVP and hallow fire heart, insurmountable skull fort for pve. Wow, so interesting and difficult to understand and master. TL;DR You must be pretty dumb to not be able to understand a class in about 11 hours.

That huge wall if text does nothing to prove that you can't titan skate with macros and scroll wheels. Which was the sole reason I point out your time spent in titan. You're right. The subclasses are lackluster, but that doesn't change the fact that if someone can spam a button fast enough that they can in fact titan skate. That my friend takes practice to get the timing and is probably the most difficult thing to(and that is sad). If wasn't possible then using a macro, scroll wheel, or a rapid fire mod wouldn't make it as game breaking as it is.
-
The wall of text was to actually educate you on why the whole "you've only played for this certain amount of hours" doesn't work in a game like destiny, but hey, you interpret it in any way you want. Also titan skating still doesn't take any skill what so ever. Here's the difference between a good titan skater and a bad one, you make an extra meter if you're good. Of course this is if they know what titan skating even is, If they're just tapping the trigger then no, that doesn't count. They have to actually be actively trying to do a titan skate. Still, you can't skate with controllers just a normal keyboard. The amount of clicks you need to do so aren't possible. Do you know how much clicks a macro makes? It makes thousands clicks just so you can access that type of speed. So unless you're somehow able to tap the space bar or X a thousand time then I don't know what to tell ya. You can make a pathetic re-creation of titan skating but I wouldn't consider that titan skating because it doesn't have the speed nor the distance that you once had.
-
To just flat our say you can't do it with a regular controller or keyboard is flat out lie. Because you most certainly can. If you would have said they dont so if as well, I wouldnt have an argument. As far as how many clicks does take, more than 3 and technically you just skated. Like I said above previously, the titan skating you can do legitimately doesnt cause an issue, like the macro or rapid fire method.
