Happened to me as well. It’s stupid. I guess they just didn’t program the hit registration well enough. The time between performing the “hit” animation and allowing the cancellation of his shot are way too far apart, and I mean there shouldn’t be any delay whatsoever. Once you see the damage numbers, the enemy should cease all action and just perform its respective “stagger” animation.
