The Darkest Estate, in Darkest Dungeon.
In a lot of ways, I prefer the time I spend in this little village more than the expeditions. It always feel great to come back from an expedition with upwards of 5000 gold to buy new armour and weapons for my soldiers, or upgrade their abilities, or force them to become alcoholics... I mean relieve their stress in a bar.
Darkest Dungeon does a lot of things right, and the hub area is definitely one, even if I wouldn't exactly call it a home.

Another favorite. The hamlet has so many little things that make it feel alive. Honestly, a story set in the Darkest Dungeon universe wouldn’t be complete without some amount of action in the hamlet.
