... No. Wrong. She took her own life because she was phuqing mentally unstable. Period. No amount of “cyber bullying” will MAKE someone commit the ultimate in stupidity. It may push them over the edge, but words are just words.
... No. Wrong. She took her own life because she was phuqing mentally unstable. Period. No amount of “cyber bullying” will MAKE someone commit the ultimate in stupidity. It may push them over the edge, but words are just words.
A little over the top, but not inaccurate.

That’s literally just “it’s your fault for being weak”. Nice victim blaming.
-
Never said it was anyone’s “fault”. As a survivor of a suicide attempt I may be a bit biased.
-
That’s what it means to claim words can’t drive someone to suicide of their own accord. If it isn’t the fault of the words or where they came from, then the fault lies with the victim. Hence “It’s your fault for being weak”. You can’t both say that words can’t be at fault and that words could cause someone to commit suicide. The only other alternative to “the victim isn’t at fault” is “the victim is at fault”. If you don’t like that, it means you are yourself uncomfortable with the very victim blaming you are doing, because that is what you are doing.

You’re right. I just don’t have much sympathy on this subject.
