What has happened to the exotic drop rate? I play every single day and rarely see any. Sure I have a bunch of forsaken exotics, but I am constantly getting duplicate year one stuff, if I get one in that week at all. And for a bigger kick in the teeth, I get exotics I currently have equipped! I admit, prime engrams drop often, but having all three characters at 650, for weeks, I don't need them! Playing the crap out of my characters for the gwisin vest, geomags and mask. I play all milestones time allows, and consistently play activities with high numbers of powerful enemies. I always use fireteam medallions. WHERE ARE THE EXOTICS!? Edit: I got an exotic drop from a gambit match today. Much excite! What is it I wonder!? I saunter over in anticipation of a gwisin vest, only to get something EVEN BETTER! another pair of stomp-eez I'll never use! Thank you bungie. Thank you for giving me yet another item I already have and never use, instead of one of the exotics I don't yet have. I'm thrilled. Hopefully the one exotic I might get next week is an aeon cult item. Might as well give me the exotic almost nobody has ever used. Better yet, I'll just go and play a different game.
