That damage of that shot is more than twice of whispers? With a melting point two four times Hines edge shots do more damage than a celestial shot

It’s not a dps weapon. It’s like saying the dps of Blade barrage isn’t good. It’s designed for a lot of damage, very very quickly

In which way is it stupid? I get it, izanagi is a burst damage weapon (lots of damage at once) which is very similar to burst damage supers like blade barrage, celestial gg and nova bomb. By your logic, people can't compare izanagi to whisper because it would be the same as comparing any burst damage super to whisper, and I'm saying your logic is flawed. Btw I actually agree with you, izanagi's role in the meta is entirely different from whisper's.

True just watched the video and I couldn’t agree more with him, it’s dps needs to pass whisper. Spray and play would help a lot

I mean as much as I would love it to be even nastier, I don't 100% agree. Whisper is a heavy, and the God of Snipers in Destiny 2. Izanami's is in the Kinetic slot. It should be nasty, but maybe not outdps Whisper. Thoughts?

I agree, but the problem with that is you have to do the same playing style to use both guns, there has to be a reason to use izanagi, whisper has the best damage over time and more dps, it just needs a trade off, but whisper over all still needs to be better, if agree

Hell like earlier mentions, it doesnt stack up to a regular shotgun. We waited so long and had a long ass questline to get it, why isnt it measuring up?
