Honestly this current set up works fine. Rather than waiting months for a big drop doing it in a few weeks and leaving again. you can wait a week and play more consistently.

I disagree, but your opinion is valid.
-
I mean I don't mind the other way either. But this way has had no adverse effects on me
-
Waiting so long between very small amounts of content has made me feel starved for content. Being told on release day that I had to wait for some streamer assholes to figure out a puzzle was like showing a hungry dog a bone but putting it on a shelf. I'd much rather have all content available to me and be able to play at my own pace, then play a different game while I wait for other things to come out.
-
Except now rather than doing it all and then playing something else for months you're finishing your shit and playing other games for a few days. This content drop is late since bungie took vacation. But other than that it's been just fine.
-
I personally don't like switching back and forth between games within a single week. I don't have that much time to play anyway, and it takes time to get used to aiming in the different games and reacquainting myself with the playstyles. Like I said, I see your opinion, it just doesn't work for me.

Well fortunately if you play all Destiny offers you can do it you'll have more than you can do. There's 2 raids weekly Gambit, strikes, crucible. 7 different dailys for Gambit strike or crucible, weekly stories, flash point, clan bounty, do 20 bounties bounty, 3 powerful weapon frames you can farm for good rolls that include a price of armor weekly, 3 pinnacle weapons, 20ish exotics to chase, I think you get the point. There's people who won't play 2/3 of the game and complain about lack of content
-
Most of that is just the same stuff over and over that I've already been doing for 4 months, though...
-
And that's also a separate argument. People get mad when they nullify old content and then get mad when they keep old content relevant.
-
The old content isn't relevant, though. I'm 650. Why would I slog through all that stuff for the umpteenth time? Getting Dredgen kept me playing Gambit for a long time, that was fun. Why is there no title related specifically to strikes? Why no title related to other things, other than the daunting wayfarer title (having not played CoO or Warmind I have ZERO interest in going through all that shit). Most of the people I raid with have already quit or hardly play, and we wouldn't be able to do a Petra's run anyway, so no use going after that title. I hate crucible in D2, so I don't care to go after that pinnacle weapon. Fusion rifles are garbage so I have no interest in going after that weapon. I enjoy playing the game, but I find myself logging on and thinking to myself, "OK, what the hell should I even bother doing." I've spent the last few weeks just completing powerful gear bounties and not turning them in to get a head start on the next season. At least I feel like I'm doing something productive there.
-
So there you go. You don't play the whole game and you dislike either path bungie goes down.
-
No, you misread my statement; I already played the whole game. I'm not interested in playing it over and over and over and over and over again. I've beat the raid 5 times, I didn't get 1k voices. I've read reports of people beating it 50 times and not getting it, sorry, that doesn't get me excited to keep playing. I like the black armory, but I'd much rather it were all released at once and I could choose between ALL of the weapon frames from Ada and complete the ones I wanted in order.
-
Dude if you base what you do on single horror stories you won't do shit. People have claimed to face 4 not forgotten at 300 glory but somehow I got Luna. It took me just under 20 keys to get 1k and it's easy to get 3 a week that KS to the riven wish and the raid layout where I can do 3 rivens and 1 heart run.

I don't have time in my life, nor am I interested in playing a hunter and warlock - and don't give me "you're skipping 2/3 of the game if you're not playing the other classes." No, that's not skipping 2/3 of the game, that's me not being interested in replaying the game 3 times on classes I don't like to play as. If they still allowed multiple drops per week across characters that are the same class, I'd have three Titans. Plus, as I mentioned, most of my raid team (there were 15 of us) have already quit. Your argument is basically for me to just replay the game over and over and consider that content, because, remember, content is hard to make. I'd much rather they created whatever content they could and called it a day, and price their DLCs accordingly, instead of creating this hamster wheel of paying to replay the same old shit over and over again. Like, seriously, Black Armory was basically, hey, pay us to have your Light Level increased by 50 so that you have incentive to keep playing the same activities you've been playing for 3 months. The annual pass should have been half the price, with no light level increases, just new guns and gear to get via new activities.
