interesting how bungie never replies to posts that have real issues people want fixed
-
1 ReplyMy D1 characters look absolutely badass! My D2 characters look absolutely homeless!
-
1 ReplyAgreed, that stupid decision took the fun out of experimenting with gear and mods. If they at Bungie think that making this game a grind feast is going to work in their favor, then they are deeply mistaken.
-
2 RepliesThe majority of my clan stopped playing Destiny 2 Forsaken when Black ops hit primarily because everyone ran out of Masterwork cores around that time and they didn't want to play the game anymore if they couldn't infuse their favorite weapons while moving up light. I can't say I don't disagree with them. Most of them got so fed up with it that they are completely gone for good.
-
4 RepliesThey need to -blam!-ing remove the stupid shit now...it’s ridiculous I can’t infuse higher gear into the gear I use and like...
-
May I please quintuple-like this post?
-
3 RepliesThe best thing they can do besides remove them is give them as rewards (between 1 & 3) for every completion. They should be as plentiful as glimmer, shards, planetary materials and weapon parts. We need all for infusion so why not? Or an enhancement core ghost to speed up the process?
-
14 RepliesCan’t believe they haven’t fixed this yet.

Edited by wikked75: 1/5/2019 10:27:24 AMAfter hitting max level, infusion costs are a reason to stop playing, not keep going. To people saying there is enough ways to get them... no. They really are poorly implemented. You have to infuse a bunch to get the decent armor with the right rolls, right resilience or recovery, right masterworks on it... On top of the fact that they keep moving the power level goal posts, making you infuse the gear youve already infused... the economy is straight broken.
-
Hopefully this gets "officially" addressed.
-
Dose anyone have a set of fully upgraded masterworked Armor and weapons?
-
This has been ongoing ever since forsaken released. It's time they -blam!-ing did something about it.
-
Well you got my vote.

Edited by pacificdune: 1/3/2019 4:36:19 AMYa know, most things that they do honestly make sense... I’ll be the first to defend many of the new changes in the game as great improvements since vanilla D2. Really don’t follow the logic with this one though. Instead of scrapper bounties and “finest matterware” that I need to think about using, or spending 10 minutes of my play time every day stopping by the spider, why not at least improve the time spent in worrying about this? Give more cores instead of scrapper bounties and matterware. Let us buy things from inventory instead of visiting the spider daily. Way too much thought and effort needs to be devoted to the mundane and not-fun persuit and management of enhancement cores. I only have so much time I can devote to playing. Why make it unnecessarily annoying?

1 ReplyI mean, infusion might as well not be a thing anymore due to the high cost. Let's base the coming math around using just the weekly reward gear as infusion and that there's one Exotic weapon and armor each. So on one character, there's about 5 different weekly rewards from all of the different activities. With about 8000 Glimmer, 2 to 4 cores (we'll go 2 for this), 10 Legendary shards, and 25 planetary materials, that adds up to a potential 40,000 Glimmer, 10 cores at the least, 50 Legendary shards, and 125 materials for just a single character (which might not even be the same material, making it more grindy requiring a decent chunk of time just traveling to the different planets), and this is just the Legendary weapon sided math. And if you end up being short, you are forced to use that weapon instead of the one thatyou enjoy having, which is the entire reason that infusion was introduced. As an easy way to keep the weapon you like using at high power instead of the endless grinding just to get that weapon with the right rolls and the right sight (back when sights were actually pleasing to look at and had a front sight making it more like-able). With the new higher costs and the not-as-lacking-as-before-granted enhancement cores, the entire point of infusion is out the window because you will not be able to consistently use your favorite weapon or Exotic.

I agree. I'm constantly out of glimmer too from trying to just infuse same items for the 5000. I literally hate the system they have in place...
-
I don't like it either. I can't even use the decent looking armor that Tess gives out, because I don't have the cores to infuse them. I have to hoard them like a miser. That's not fun.
-
get rid of cores. they only punish people who stopped playing before forsaken when destiny was crap. which was justified
-
3 RepliesBump. We could do without the cores to infuse. It’s just another way to stretch out the grind.
-
7 RepliesYou're lazy if you didnt earn a 100 or more cores during the Dawning event. You guys whine and cry about enhancement cores because you cant be bothered to use the numerous ways to earn them...pathetic.

A similar feature in D1 was removed for an obvious reason after the taken king and beyond.
-
Why need this do?
-
Reminder that this is all because of streamers.

33 RepliesEdited by lupin_tha3rd: 1/2/2019 7:27:01 PMI've yet to masterwork any armor set because of the crap economy. Should've just kept them for masterwork.
