YoloMouse
Doing web searches on this mouse altering program seems that is has caused bans in other games, seeing as it is changing an appearance of an in game asset is probably your cause. It would fall under the this section:
Using an external program to modify the operation of the Destiny game software, such as: Trainers, mods, cheats, aimbots, or autofire. User mode or kernel debuggers Graphics hacks
• However that program: 1) Doesn't see Destiny 2, thus can't even change the cursor if you tried. 2) Was not executed while Destiny 2 was. 3) Was in my PC long before Destiny 2. So Bungie decided to ban me after a year for a program that is not even executed while playing Destiny 2?

 •
Doesn't see Destiny 2, thus can't even change the cursor if you tried.
Just because it does not work, does not mean it is not detected. You are the one who mentioned using the app
I do not know if a software is working behind that is not effecting destiny but other games. For example: I use YoloMouse for playing League of Legends.

2) Was not executed while Destiny 2 was. 3) Was in my PC long before Destiny 2.
If it was still running, even in system tray it will be detected and can cause a ban. You wanted an answer, based on the info you provided, you have an answer. As you have been told and should be apparent by their lack of reply, Bungie is not going to give you an answer, it is on you to review your system and figure it out. Based on the info you provided, it would appear that either yolomouse or possibly a debugger was used for your coding class. The rest is on you, sorry but that is the way it is.

 • Unfortunately, while I fully understand what you want. You can see from their policy and lack of reply, it is an answer you are not going to get from them. Within a couple days this thread will vanish from most people's screens including Bungie.

 • No way, I mean it's not like I told him this but he's 'holding out hope'. Good grief some people just do not get the clue :) I didn't want to go that far into the software but it's easy to see he had software which violated the EULA.
