It's been this way since D1, but hasn't really picked up any traction for some reason till Gambit nerfed sleeper. I've always said this gun had far too much aim assist for such a fast charge rate, and I think people are starting to see that.
Not too mention, but there is little to no reason to not use the combat sight. Faster charge rate and still hits them crispy OHKs.

Marksman has twice the change time but isn't any more accurate than Combat. Combat should be more like a Fusion Rifle, while Marksman should be more like a Sniper.

The aim assist wasnt nearly that strong In d1. It was my favourite gun and I used it pretty much every game, you actually had to put the damn reticle on someone's head to kill them. This is just stupid.
