How do you "fix" the fact that people are lazy and don't want to work for things?
The point is that shitty people are shitty people. Lazy people are lazy people. If you make it an investment grind.....they'll take shortcuts. If you make it a skill situation.....they'll cheat.
So the only "fix" here is to evolve a better human being.....
...and that's one you'll have to take up with The Designer.

I wouldn't describe not wanting to play 40 Gambit matches as "Lazy". The word I'd use is "Sane". And when you describe your recreational game is "Work" it's time to be questioning your choices. The fact is this bounty is going to be a chore for most players not something they just do over time while playing some otherwise enjoyable activity.

I’m at 20 something matches so far and I’m just playing my normal amount 🤷♂️ some people are just trash.
-
I hear you. I’d be feeling like trash too if i’d somehow slogged through 20 gambit matches already. But there is a cure. You could quit playing Gambit and get your self esteem back.
-
Hell gambit and raid are the only things I do now since shotgun spam and nova bomb -blam!- have ruined crucible 🤷♂️ go back out o fondling some dudes in comp play bro.
-
As I said there is a cure for your low self esteem.

Projection as a defense mechanism. Interesting.

Edited by Arlimes: 11/30/2018 10:12:43 PMLol this has been fun. You’re boring me now so I’m gonna go play some gambit. Hope to run into you so I can dip my balls in your face a few times after I merk your team 😂
-
I am sure i will be impressed as you command you character to dip your virtual balls into my virtual mouth.
-
Now you’re getting the idea. I’m impressed I honesty am not sure as to what to respond for once 😂

I wouldn't say grinding 40 gambit matches is working for it
-
In "in-game" terms it is. That represents about 10 hours of game play.
-
Yeah but you don't have to do anything lol Hence afkers
-
That's not the only requirement. You also need to get like 500 auto rifle kills and 100 auto rifle multi-kills. Playing to the objective---on my main----I'm on pace to get those done in about 28 matches. The guys who are just farming AR kills and ignoring everything else are probably getting it done even faster..... ...and then just being douches, and going AFK or throwing the remaining matches to get to 40.
-
I was finished with all challenging enemies and multi-kills by game 7. Didn't get the 500 AR kills until game 18 or so somehow. Which still left me 22 games to painfully play through.
-
It is supposed to be a **seasonal** quest....and this is only Day 3......
-
The seasonal thing is what I told my friends. But honestly, I'll probably do the 40 on my account tomorrow or something if ever. Seasons last a long enough time and I'm pretty sure Onslaught can be rolled on other weapons. Either way, it's not a scout rifle so I'm not really bothered to get it.
-
Actually I'm pleased its an auto rifle....because (on console at least)....most of the content is better suited to playing with an AR rather than a PR or SR. Too many things rushing you and getting in your face.
-
I've got a shotgun for when things get in my face. I just want a good scout rifle. We've had Pulse Rifles, Autos, Hand Cannons, and Fusions as the best/Most interesting guns since House of Wolves. Scouts never get anything interesting, and with Forsaken, we've only seen a ton of 150s. I'd like some 180s other than Distant Relation, which is one of the worst scouts in the game. Personally, I just want the MIDA weapons buffed via their masterwork.

Shotguns are for point-defense. The benefit of ARs is VOLUME OF FIRE. You can throw up a wall of lead, and dare all these aggressive trash mobs to run through it. I find that I'm "caught in a reload" with something still in my face less often with an AR than any other weapon. So my shotgun gets less use.....or I'm free to use other weapons besides a shotgun. Because I'm under less pressure. [quote]Scouts never get anything interesting, and with Forsaken, we've only seen a ton of 150s. That sucker is sitting in my vault just WAITING for some content better suited to SR use. The Dreaming City SR----Vouchesafe---is also VERY good. I have one that rolled with Dragonfly. Another with full auto and Explosive Payload...and a third that rolled with Outlaw. Its a 200 RPM SR that not only does well in open world situations where I need both range AND volume of fire....its also a pretty good PVP weapon on the few really large maps. As for Distant Relation, if you like MIDA, I really don't understand what your issue is with it. It just has less stability than you're used to with MIDA (whch is near max). So you'd just need a roll that has stability perks. I have one sitting in my vault that is a stability god-roll: Polygonal Rifling, Steady Rounds, and Opening Shot (and Triple Tap). Its handling is indistinguishable from MIDA.

Distant Relation is the only new 180 archetype Scout and it feels nothing like MIDA. It's also incapable of rolling any damage perks and has the majority of the worst stats among all scouts of the 180 archetype. (after getting 9 of them and they were all trash, I looked it up) Vouchsafe feels fine perkwise, but I prefer damage boosting perks as well as the 180 archetype. I do have a nameless midnight with High impact/kill clip but I prefer my Nilfheim Frost over it due to the overall feel and look of the gun. I never find myself in a situation where I'm overwhelmed using MIDA/Ikelos SG. Possibly because MIDA helps me move faster than my enemies, arcbolt grenades give me breathing room if need be, and dodging is a fast enough reload and can be used frequently enough in emergencies.

Lol you can't fix stupid 😂
