If you take the "journalists" that criticized a game for having too much water seriously I question the validity of your arguments that Fallout 76 is bad.
Passive-aggressive poking aside, it's really not as bad as people make it out to be without diving into all the technical problems individuals experience. The story is actually pretty good, even if a tad monotonous at times (Backtracking to the same spot at least 3 times does that...) has some interesting characters and lots of nice lore attached to it. Sure, no living human NPCs is a bit weird, but I honestly cannot truthfully say that having living ones would change the experience much. We all ignore them the second time around at earliest anyway, so why are they important again?

It is an empty world that is full of nothing but bugs and glitches. Nothing else
It is an empty world that is full of nothing but bugs and glitches. Nothing else
You know what that is? Hyperbole.

Tell me what’s in that world that’s interesting
i swear if I hear “iTs FuN wItH fRiEnDs” one more time
How about the characterization of the Brotherhood of Steel and Roger Maxson? Or the interesting locations like Mount Blair and the Hornwright Industrial Rockhound digging machine? Just because there's a stupid meme that pisses you off doesn't mean there aren't legitimately cool, fun, or interesting things in the game with or without friends.

So breaking the lore is a benefit now, great. Just because it’s fallout doesn’t mean it’s automatically good. Go look at meta critic and just look how pathetic the game is being received. Never seen a price drop this soon for a new release either. Just pitiful Bethesda is a shell of the studio they once were. I used to love them when they were the pinnacle of gaming but now they went from being trend setters in the industry to following practices set by other publishers like EA and Activision (live service). They deserve that lawsuit, it’s about time they had a wake up call. Bethesda will be answering for 76 for years to come and this will make others, myself included, question buying another one of their games. Their “save single player” campaign seems to just have been a publicity stunt Love it or hate it you cannot deny that the engine needs to be taken out back and shot like the fossil that it is. It can’t even handle a single player game let alone a multiplayer one.

So expanding the lore is a detriment now, great. Not so great when it's fired back at you, huh? And as for the rest, I don't really feel like replying to it because sure, they may in fact be and deserve all those things. I just think people need to tone it down a bit. In fact, I think a LOT of people need to chill the -blam!- out about a lot of things in gaming. It's a bit ridiculous some times.
So expanding the lore is a detriment now, great.
So providing excuses on shoehorning faction lore into an empty game to make it seem more appealing at surface value is a benefit now, great.
Not so great when it's fired back at you, huh?
Not so great when you’re a blind fanboy with no balls to hold your favorite developers accountable
I don't really feel like replying to it because
I don’t feel like replying to sheep myself so I’ll just stop right there

You are literally going in a circle. I wash my hands of this.

I’d say more like back and forth than a circle
If you take the "journalists" that criticized a game for having too much water seriously I question the validity of your arguments that Fallout 76 is bad.
Maybe so, but I'm genuinely questioning your sense of what constitutes as an argument—largely due to the fact that I haven't actually presented one. The game speaks for itself; there's no point in repeating what's already been said. Fallout 76 isn't a good game, now it's time to move past that and have some fun at its expense.
