OK.... Thats fair, however, if that is your only defense, then part of you is inconsiderate. Is that what your Jesus teaches you? Normally at this point I get a response something along the lines of "The good book tells us to spread the word".. so let me answer that defense too. Firstly, if a book tells you to be inconsiderate, then perhaps that book should to be questioned a bit, shouldn't it? I tend to adopt the Votairian idea that "i may not agree with what you say but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." but I say the same thing about racists and terrorists. You're, of course, allowed to say it but it doesn't mean that what you say is welcome, appreciated, or even correct. If you weren't given permission or in some cases, encouragement, by your religion to proselytize, even if its unwelcome, we would all get along much better. I would love to ignore it, but that's not an option when people like you insist on inserting their religion into everything whether it's asked for or not. I didn't go to a religious forum. I didn't go to a church/synagogue/temple. It was you that brought it here to a completely secular forum on a secular question.
