LiTC is a bad perk to bring back.
Kills should be down to skill not RNG. Take bloom out instead.

Hell no. Hand canons already dominate now and dominated in d1 year 3. Clearly bloom isn't affecting them much
-
Bloom is a 50/50 thing though. If your not on target it gives you the chance of still landing the shot (within reason). And if you are on target it’s the opposite. It’s not necessary a hindrance it’s just RNG.
-
Bloom helps you as much as you think it hurts. As soon as they take out bloom people will be crying that they can't hit any shots
-
Edited by shwabbywabby: 11/19/2018 5:44:39 PMIt’s not that I think it only hurts it’s that I believe: If I’m aiming at the head I should hit a crit. If I’m aiming at the body I should hit a body. If I’m not aiming at anything then I shouldn’t hit anything.
Kills should be down to skill not RNG.
LOL. You are in the the wrong game then, bro.
-
Something I’ve been thinking more and more recently.

Seriously though, this PvP is not good for competitive play. It shouldn't be taken seriously. You will never get a level playing field in Destiny, which is a loot based game. Players who want a skill based experience, would be better served in Overwatch or other games. Destiny 2 PvP should be played for kicks and giggles. It's much more fun that way.
-
I agree with you that it shouldn’t be taken seriously but it’s not about that for me. D1 was the best PVP I’ve ever played, fun wise. It definitely wasn’t always a even playing field and even if I didn’t like the meta I still had a lot of fun. I just want that fun back. Having bullets go in random directions isn’t fun it’s frustrating. I know D1 was the same but it more than made up for it in other ways.

Space magic and gear was so strong, that anyone could compete regardless of skill. OHK grenades and other abilities made any player lethal. I loved it.

Space magic and gear - yes One hit grenades again - no Sunsinger was just scrub for firbolt and fusion nades. It was easy getting 10+ kills a match without even firing a gun. I’m actually seriously disappointed they bought back shoulder charge and added handheld nova $h!t

You didn't need to have the best guns or the best aim to compete. Strong space magic made any player lethal. That's a level playing field. Without space magic, this shooter is substandard in the current video game world. It's like 8 years behind the top titles. They need to bring back the OHK grenades and abilities. Most of the current grenades are garbage in PvP.
-
No way - they need to add the timers back for the abilities but going back to one hit grenades is a huge mistake. Adding back shoulder charge was a huge mistake. One hit wipes should be reserved for supers and heavy.

I love it in Gambit. It absolutely has to be OHK, or else it's instant death whenever you use it. Without that it's totally useless in PvP.
One hit wipes should be reserved for supers and heavy.
Uh, no. We had this situation when D2 launched. It sucked.
-
I actually hate it when people compare the launch of D2 with anything. It sucked. It wasn’t even destiny. They had three years to base a sequel off and disregarded everything. Going from one extreme to completely the opposite side in the worst possible way. One hit grenades were skill less and could charge every 20 seconds, so NO it wasn’t fun (or even conducive to any level of skill) Halo was great but then you need to pick up plasma grendes (not just charge unlimited amounts of endless stickies.) Gambit is also not pvp. One hit moves like shoulder charge in the actual crucible is as scrub as constant heavy ammo spawns..... Gambit - who cares if a tredecillion grunts die a painful shoulder charged death?
-
I guess we will have to agree to disagree. lol

You're right but the PvP is fun af though
You're right but the PvP is fun af though
When it works right, then yes I agree. I think Destiny 1 PvP was the most fun I ever had in a multiplayer game. Right now, I'm having too many issues with lag to enjoy it.

exactly if they made handcannons across the board work properly on console Luna would have plenty of contenders even with the current shallow perk pool. I would love to see an old school thorn also....
