Once you hit 600 in this game NOTHING is fun anymore IMO.
As for the guns and armor: 100% agree. D1 Iron banner guns we're special. Clever Dragon, Lingering Song, Nirwens Mercy, Laughing Heart, can't remember the Y3 scout...all good tier weapons. D2 IB weapons? Meh. I have better fast firing pulses, better scouts, better snipers, better rocket launchers, better grenade launchers. And I don't mean one or two better, several better.
Plus, the whole reason shotguns were moved to heavy was the maps were small and couldn't deal with shotgun warriors. They were also 4v4 maps.
Hopefully they can fix it but I doubt it.

Yeah man. I understand what you are saying. And yeah I forgot about Nirwen's Mercy. And I heard Clever Dragon was really good. Though technically I missed Y3 Destiny. lol. I'd just be happy with my Y1 stuff. And yeah the shotgun thing is out of control in the Crucible at the moment. I agree. 4vs4 maps that were built with the fact in mind that shotgunning WASN'T going to happen very often (because shotguns were power weapons as you said) just doesn't seem to be working out very well with the 6vs6, shotguns everywhere Crucible we currently have. We need some bigger maps with more open space. The sad thing is that Y1 Destiny 2 Crucible; even though it wasn't as exciting to most people, was actually a WHOLE LOT better balanced. Bungie actually knew what they were doing when they designed the Crucible in Y1. They just didn't realize people are fickle and would cry for LESS balance. lol. I hope they can fix it to some degree. The Iron Banner weapons and armor AND the Crucible maps thing.
