True. "Lol why would I care about politics?" *Later* "Oh my god how could this politician get voted in?!"
Anyway, the end of the world has three stages imo.
1. Our apathy and waste kills off all other animal species.
2. Our wars kill off us.
3. The Sun eats whatever remains.
It's possible that in between 2 and 3 new animals will evolve and take over though. Tardigrades and cockroaches, maybe rats, could survive some of humanity's mistakes, and then new species might evolve from them in time. Even without that, some kind of new animal species could evolve much like the first species on Earth did.
My history teacher used to say that humans' successors will be rats, but who really knows?

Hey, are you actually doing the contest this time? You have until November 31st and I would absolutely love to see your writing man.
-
Probably not this time. I have been considering writing something to post up here, but I don't have anything right now that is marketed for this community, nor a spare first draft floating around.
-
Man, you're hurting my heart bro. Lol, just take your time. No rush. Maybe next time for the December contest, hopefully.

Lol. I didn't realise anyone wanted to see my writing that much.
