Honestly I feel so bad for the reputation of the gunslinger subclass. This super has single handedly ruined its reputation as a skilled subclass.

Golden gun's never had a reputation as skilled. Between the 'auto-aim guaranteeing 3-4 kills per super' and 'balanced neutral game' criticisms. Whether its because its a hunter subclass so automatically is seen as 'easy mode', i don't know.

Edited by Church100: 11/7/2018 12:31:08 PMI've mained a gunslinger through whole of destiny so i do tend to notice when it is a topic of discussion in posts. I completely understand what you're saying about it being less annoying to be killed by gg but really, for all of the criticism of blade barrage it is no different to all of the one and done supers. It might be that a lot of hunters (even those that normally play a different subclass) have swapped onto it having had to deal with nova bombs and fists of havoc from day one.

I agree the problem with it is most players are hunters and most hunters play this subclass in the crucible and most people playing this subclass see this path so it seems more annoying than it is.

Don't get me wrong plenty of people have flick skills that are like art and seem borderline aimbot, no one likes getting 1 hit constantly but I've seen some amazing plays with GG

Exactly because golden gun requires skill but not the blade super
