Because it’s a super, in fact, they recently prevented a certain titan super from counting as melee kills and it was proccing some melee based exotic, i can’t remember which, but it’s the way they intended. Just imagine the damage output you could have with wormgod’s caress and pretty much any titan super? Yeah, that’s why. It’s just to prevent titans from proccing damage buffs and melting an entire boss by themselves.
