The Subclass is actually pretty good, but calls for a specific playstyle. The only thing that needs looked at is the hit registration on the Super. It's twice as bad as the Sentinel and that's a HUGE problem.

  • Been killed while above it enough to know it was fixed in the go fast update if you want to know bad hit detection use spectral blades

  • People don’t know how powerful the subclass actually is, like it’s gotten to the point where it’s all I use in PvP, the wombo combo is actually so good and the smoke counters roaming supers like it’s nobodies business. And don’t even get me started on the true sight, like that’s half the reason I use the subclass, hell 90% of the time I’ll just pop the super for the true sight.

  • How does smoke counter supers? It doesn't even do anything to a superless Guardian

  • It does minor blinding and it slows them down like a lot, yeah you can jump out of it but in that time you can shut down a super, Ive won fights against hammers and a couple warps because of the smoke

  • Personally in my experience I've usually died before I could take advantage of the effects of a smoke on roaming supers, but I've seen them slow them down before, usually after theyve killed me and unknoeingly ran into it. The smoke does not stop Titan one shot melees (it will stop them from running, which will stop them from doing the melee but if they activate the animation before they hit your smoke, which happens to me and I'm sure others, they will charge right through it and kill you, which, again, makes sense for that class ability) throwing hammers, Nova Warp explosions, Guardians firing there weapon, hunters dodging out of it, and all Guadians can still jump out of it. You can do anything while in a smoke grenade, you're just slower. Even if they can't move as freely they can still do all of that and therefore still kill you. In fact I've been killed even by superless Guardians that were still in my smokes. It's a decent tool and I love it but it could be better. This class is a decent class and I love it, I have a hard time putting it down, but it could be better, and this is not the only class I feel that way about. A Burning Maul buff idea post will be going up soon.
