Hello. Thanks for your report. I see in the other comments that you've done some troubleshooting already. Do you have HDR turned on (on your TV, XB1X, or both)?

  • The last thing to try would be to reset your Xbox One to factory default. Doing this will erase all accounts, games, saved data, videos, pictures, and more. Anything not synchronized and stored in the cloud with Xbox Live will be lost. Your Destiny account will be safe.   • This was the first thing Microsoft had me do. My question at this point is does this seem like a hardware issue or has this happened in the past? I intend on going back to Microsoft to request repair if we can possibly pin point what it could be. Thanks again for the constant updates!

  • Here is an entirely new but related graphic issue. Maybe this will help pin point the problem. This issue is especially problematic in crucible as it’s actually blocking line of sight at times or causing dramatic lighting when you turn a corner.

  • Yes i have cleared the cache, reinstalled twice, full system reset twice. I’m agreeing with everyone that’s its console related but Microsoft said it’s not but all they had me do was reset and reinstall. At that point they asked if it happened in other games but honestly I don’t play anything else except for Minecraft with my kids so I didn’t have much to test it on. At that point I got an email that said go talk to the game company who made the game...if you think it’s hardware related that’s fine I’ll take his help thread back to Microsoft and ask for repair.

  • I guess I’m struggling that I could be the only one having this issue if it’s game related. Hardware seemed more likely especially with it happening over time. Sounded like failing GPU or heating issue but to your point I can’t recreate it in another game.

  • HDR is turned on my Xbox. According to the Xbox my tv is hdr compatible but not hdr 10. I have used my Xbox with my tv and with a gaming monitor which is not hdr or 4K. My understanding is that the Xbox will use applicable settings depending on the device. In either case the issue occurs. Xbox support emailed me and said it’s a “game” issue and that the Xbox has no issues. I’ve tried two displays 3 cords and each port on each display. The issue doesn’t occur immediately but usually after about 30+ minutes of play and is seen in pvp/PvE/tower/menus etc.

  • I turned off HDR and it’s still having the same issue. Also if it matters it’s happening almost immediately now. It was taking 20-40 minutes of play before and it gets worse as you play.

  • I understand that you live in an area where download speeds aren't the best, but you may want to uninstall the game and reinstall it, which might help your issue.
