I like how you've made balanced, well-reasoned suggestions to problems you've identified. It's a rare sight on the forums. I agree completely on the Super stuff. The Throwing Hammer, as it is, is underrated in my opinion, even in PvP. I do agree that it is a tad impractical but it still outshines Throwing Knife is almost every way (tracking, potential damage with Roaring Flames or Wormgod's Caress, health regen opportunity, refundable cooldown). I'm not sure it really needs a buff. If it did get one, I would simply vote for a recall like you said. And the visual tracker of where it landed would be useful but that's a quality of life change, not a buff, so it of course should get that. Now I would love an exotic armor piece that made all your solar kills create explosions based on your Roaring Flames stacks. That'd be sick and work very, very well with Throwing Hammer.

I do recognize that if you compare knives and hammer just by themselves, hammer is better. However, why is it that, in PvP, Code of the Devastator is worse than all, if not most, of Gunslinger's ability trees? I just want the overall tree to be at least decent in both PvE and PvP.

  • Oh yeah I don't disagree, I'm just saying Throwing Hammer seems good to me as is. Now the super, holy cow is it awful. Golden Gun and Blade Barrage are leaaaagues ahead. Burning Maul needs a buff so badly.
