Ascendant Challenge death
So I was doing this week's ascendant challenge with my friends. We reached the end and I was killed by a shrieker as I was too high up. When I spawned, I wasn't able to go back in, even after logging out and trying to join them again. It didn't even count it towards my contract. Please fix this now as it has happened to me twice already and it's really frustrating.

2 RepliesThis is how Bungie wants it to be. If your mates are not waiting for you when you die and spawn or open the chest you will get not rewarded and have to do the challenge again.

Nothing to fix, you failed the challenge. Until you spawn the boss you can go back in as often as you want. Soon as that boss appears the portal closes and you can't die. You'll have to run it again.

I'm guessing based on your power level, you die somewhat fast in there?
