You're using the Subclass all wrong. If you immediately activate your super and start blocking your enemy won't shoot you, let them start shooting then start blocking. The subclass has great synergy... The best exotic for this Subclass is Frosties hands down. It decreases your grenade, melee, and dodge cool down when sprinting while increasing sprint speed. Pair this with Gamblers dodge to get your Staff Strike back when dodging near an enemy. The best perks to use with this subclass: -Grenade: Arcbolt -Jump: Personal Preference -Dodge: Gamblers Dodge -Exotic Armor: Frosties -Weapons: Personal Preference (Though I suggest pairing a Slug/Precision Shotgun, body shot an enemy while sliding then activate Staff Strike)

 • I actually really enjoy this class it was probably my least fav hunter class before forsaken but after watching Ms5000watts video about the class I gave it a go an it's been a lot of fun an the synergy is pretty good between melee an class ability, it could use an exotic to decrease the super use when blocking but who knows what the next dlc will bring, if any hunter class needs reworking it's spectral blades that class is a hot mess.

 • Honeslty, no. I'm not using it wrong. As I wrote, except for some situations in PvP where you can use the Whirlwhind Guard against projectiles and Supers, there is no much you can do it with, and whatever you want to do, you can do it much better with other Ways and other Subclasses. This Way is clearly the less performative of any other Hunter Ways, probably the least performative Way in the entire game.
The subclass has great synergy...
I'm not talking of the Subclass, I'm talking specifically of the Way of the Current. The only possible "synergy" among the Way of the Current Perks is when you active Ebb and Flow, with which you have first to elctrifies enemies with an Arc Skill and then hit them with a melee in order to confuse them and get a skill recovery But why you should that, when with the Way of the Wind you can simply confuse enemies with a melee, recovery it with a Gambler's Dodge, and confuse them again with another melee. Hell, you can even obtain a much more desiderable effect by using the Gemini Jester that creates a confusion effect area when dodging. Or why you should do that, when with the Way of the Warrior you can have an infinite melee/dodge cycle with health regen, melee damage increased and melee range increased by default with its own Perks only without even using any set up or Exotic. Honestly, no way that the Current is better then the other two Ways.
The best exotic for this Subclass is Frosties hands down. Way of the Wind is even more effective then the Way of the Current in PvP because in PvP you often end in red health and in this way the Perk that accelerates the recovery of the Skills is almost always active when with the Way of the Current you should activate the Ebb and Flow that requires a kill with a meleer against an enemy that is alreasdy alectrfies by another Arc Skill... It's not a question of hjow do you play with the Way, it's simply the Way that works really bad compared to the others.
