Farm planet material using legendary shards from Spider. Use those planet mats for packages or year 1 items. These items, when dismantled, have a chance to drop mod components. This is also the only way you can reliably farm for masterwork cores. The only issue is the time it takes to buy the mats......1 shard at a time is ridiculous.
