Alright I'm going to sound really self-absorbed, but we should have a statue by now...
We literally killed an Archon on our first day, proceed to single handedly slay the heart of the black garden and then went on to kill multiple hive gods and become an Iron Lord. We should totally get a statue

It was. In abstract. It was of the Guardians. Us in the truest sense. Every player that is part of Destiny. From esteemed Clans like Redeem, to nobodies who barely have gotten their feet under them

I'm talking about a statue of THE Guardian, the hero of the Red war, killer of Oryx and the newest Iron Lord. Not a statue of Guardians in general

I would really like that, but I can’t see many ways it could be possible, because everyone’s character is different.

I mean it could just be in a cutscene down in the city, right before we see it the game say's choose the armor you'd like to be wearing on the statute and then boom! Never see it again

What if they make a statue that reflects the player character's face and then keep that statue relative to each player. Similar to how ammo and engrams only appear for individual people, the statue's face could appear different for every player. It would probably be unnecessarily complicated and wouldn't be worth it. I could only see that happening in like the final dlc of the game. Bungie went all out in Age of Triumph, so they might do it again. I dunno.

I was thinking they could do that, but like you said, it would be unnecessarily complicated. I still like the idea though.

Yeah, they'd only do it as a "-blam!- it" type of thing. Definitely not something they'd do if they're being serious with resource management.
