The problem is that Way of the Wraith has the most potential to being a broken subclass in PvP.
It has the Bladedancer super, wombo combo, invisibility, and the ability to see enemies through walls.
Balance is still a thing in this game.

Dont forget that shattering strike is the same 1.5x damage as melting point, but not stuck behind a melee cooldown timer... So.. Super (when it hits things) is good for pvp and ad clearing in PvE. Flawless execution is invis without a cooldown + wallhax... which is fantastic for everything And the smoke is good for PvP. Also.. for good DpS... shattering strike a boss, imediately pop super and start swiping... the 1.5x damage lasts for basically the entirety of your super..

PvP ruins PvE once again 😂

I agree. I love way of the wraith but it def needs a little love. I think it’s fine for the most part. My only issues are flawless execution being near impossible to use effectively in pvp and hit registration needs help. Other than that I think it’s fine as is

I mean, those are the must-changes, but if you think about it Wraith really doesn't offer much at all in the way of damage. The melee is among the weakest and offers less utility than it could, and flawless execution doesn't actually improve damage in any way unless you melee something (but in high tier PvE that's a really high risk low reward move against a lot of enemies). That's my take on it, anyway. Even just a little buff to cooldowns or damage bonuses would be so welcome.

I agree with majority of what you’re saying. I think the damage issue could be fixed with better hit registration. Half the reason the damage is so bad is because it’s mission impossible to hit the target, but the spectral blades do solid damage when they actually connect (which isn’t often). You’re definitely right about the melting point melee not having enough reward for the risk. I’d like to see smokes apply the melting point if you hit things with them while flawless execution is active

Yeah I agree with you. It strikes me that the direction Bungie chose for Wraith is such that it is either underwhelming, but after a certain threshold of power it becomes strong. Really fast. Which requires very fine balance. I proposed a number of suggestions, any one of which would be welcome in my opinion. Not necessarily all or even most of them could be implemented in order for the subclass to be more fun to play, but I honestly believe something should be done about it. If PvP-specific tweaks were necessary, I would fine with that. Ex. if Flawless Execution gave bonus precision damage, that bonus could be much smaller in PvP as I totally see how that could get ludicrous, fast.
