Thanks for the reply. My thoughts on mods are that they could bring back abilities like the overcharged boost from the Timebreaker in D1 or add things like the flame trail boost that are on the new Pikes or strafe grenades to name a few examples.

Overcharged booster could be either an advantage or disadvantage. If they drastically increased the speed you got but the speeder blew up faster, then I could see it coming in handy for a lot of clutches. But if they added more enemies, or obstacles that damaged you, it would add sort of a tactical game playing to it. But then you would run into sparrow elitists. If they had it on all sparrows, that would make it more of a fair advantage. Of course I’m a fool for mentioning “fair gameplay” especially on the forum that I am, from what I’ve read and heard about the toxicity of these forums. I think if they put some actual effort behind it and make it worth playing it would be a fun event. I remember playing with my buddy back in D1 during the last time they had Sparrow Racing League and he lost 2nd place by .01 seconds. Hilarity ensued and it was one of the last times I remember playing this game with people.

Yeah and that's just a short list of ideas. They could get really crazy with it and go as far as having mods that add weapons to your sparrow with a trade off and a dps that's a bit lower than the pike. That might be a bit overly ambitious but the possibilities are huge.
