I was so pumped for the new sandbox, but reality is hit home how bad it is. shotgun fest
I hope my last 3 crucible games are not a sign of whats to come. They were quite possibly my worst d2 experience i have ever had.
I am an old d1 player that thought this new sand box was what the game needed. Was i wrong, have they made it worse? I hope not but it seems so.

2 RepliesI wasn't too much of a fan of D1 pvp but in the end at least you didn't spawn with shotgun ammo (except Universal Remote). New sandbox feels pretty chaotic. Almost 60k crucible kills but now I've found myself loading up the old Diablo III and taking it easy lol. Takes some time to get used to D2 changes, at least for me as I'm closer to middle age than my teenage years. :)

10 RepliesShotguns ruin the game. They take no skill and they slow the pace of the game. Nerf the range and handling speed. If you weld a shottie you move at half speed.

update: i was experiencing the hand cannon bug aswell, which made it worse. running a fusion and auto/pulse makes it a lot easier.

It’s the map sizes. They are too small with too many hiding spots. Also power ammo needs to drop once in two separate spots like D1. They also need to match players by connection first. One more thing is bring back neutralizing zones in Control. If Bungie did that we would be in a great spot.

21 RepliesI was calling this from the begining, crucible will be a shit show. Average to bad players will be even worse and skilled players will be even better making the average and less skilled players hate crucible. rush shotgunning, camping shotgunners and camping snipers all using insta kill weapons.

I’ve been using a sniper pulse and grenade launcher most of today and almost always getting top of the team it’s very easy to kill people with shotguns.

3 RepliesIdk. Im having fun. Try one of the fusion rifles with the back up plan perk or whatever its called. It quick charges on weapon swaps. Gotta be mindful of the radar. If you see someone close on radar, you gotta be prepped for cqc. I am worried about smgs and sidearms now tho. Theyre still ok but i cant see a place for either in the current meta

1 ReplyI haven't played since release, just could not get into the game. I'm hoping these new changes make pvp fun again, however, at the moment I can't even find a game.. something must be up with matchmaking or the servers.. soo not off to an enjoyable start.
