I guess people have pointed out the song was written ages ago. Long before Destiny and has jack to do with "us". It's a song about going into the light when you die. I know a lot of people here are young but, it's getting like frikkin' Apple levels of ignorance now i.e. stuff somehow didn't exist before Apple "invented it" like nfc etc. etc. Bungie just picked a song that was appropriate for the mood of the western death scene. Do we have to go back to the 7th chest, spinfoil hat days again where people read Einstein levels of deep into stuff Bungie did while Bungie just looked on bewildered as to how people were plucking these random connections out of their arses!
