' “captain o captain” - this is a reference to the line from Robin Williams character in the film Dead Poets Society'
Well, the film Dead Poets Society has references to the Walt Whitman poem, but is not the original source. "Oh Captain! My Captain!" is an extended metaphor poem by Walt Whitman written in 1865 about the death of Abraham Lincoln

Possible that’s it’s also an educational factor. I knew I’d Dead poets society but I’d never heard of the poem. Regardless I’ll add it when I get to it.

Thanks. I will research some more in the meantime, as there are a few more from D1 if I could just remember them!
