For real. I could have given a better in depth explanation of why it's the best weapon in crucible right now. How about try because it's not standard archtype, it's a pulse rifle that hits as hard as a hard hitting scout, but faster, which is why it can 3 burst and has the fastest ttk. that's literally your issue with both exotic pulses, is that they don't belong to a standard archtype. They break the meta that way because they are unique, and get better dps for the ranges they shoot for. The explosion on death on a medium/long distance weapon synergizes well with the maps, because bungie doesn't design big map spaces. They design almost exclusively small close/medium range arena's. Which are going to be the forte's for these types of weapons. They reach the optimal distance for the map average, have an explosion on death which again, due to the smallness of the size of the maps becomes incredibly powerful because your team is forced to operate together in smaller spaces. Optimal range for the map size, good synergistic exotic effect for the small arena style maps, and unique archtypes with faster time to kills. Boom! Look I explained it better. Your welcome.
