I kind of want LMG's to come back (I mean not really but it would be cool to have a new weapon type), but your ideas are terrible, no offense intended. Good luck out there guardian.

I can see how they are. But... not to compare games, I like the way the division uses these two weapon types and thought it would be cool if destiny did something similar. (Granted, I realize the proper response to that is "then go play the division" lol). But still, I see how the gameplay differences would affect that and yet... I still think it would work. I feel like there's a lack of identity with smgs in their current state and there's little reason to use one instead of an AR and I really miss having something full auto in the power slot if I want to run semi-auto weapons in kinetic and energy slots... especially now that we're getting the ability to run shotty snipers again.

You have good points. Maybe a Bungie moderator/employee will see this and take notice of it? Also by the way play whatever you want, if you prefer D2 over the division do that. It's good to see some constructive criticism every now and then.

Agreed. Honestly, I knew this pitch would have pretty divisive responses so no worries! I liked the original response to this thread waaaaay down at the bottom because I had never even considered those points. Who knows though... they are always "listening" after all lol.
