A year later and they are still shooting taken blights. You expect them to master 5 EP bosses since May? lol

Geez, there are still folk that don't destroy the small servitors or the glimmer machines! And the trolls that destroy the first Fallen tank before the orbs are in place That said, there needs to be far more variation of Public Events - with Normal, Heroic & Prestige stages (20+ new, different & planetary specific PE would be nice)

When you kill a certain amount of taken, that's when the blight moves. If you just kill the small blight, all it does is move somewhere else attached to the same large blight remaining on phase 1.

If you kill the small blights you remove the buff that makes it possible to shoot the large blight...WHICH IS HOW YOU TRIGGER THE HEROIC. We don't need to chase the damn thing all over the freakin' place. Just dip in and do damage to large blight. Also...by killing the taken...you are feeding the large blight the health we are trying to shoot away.

If you destroy the small blights, all they do is respawn in the same spot. You just have to wait a few seconds. Killing the taken is how you do it on normal. That has no effect on the large blight.

You have no idea what you're talking about. You're not supposed to shoot the blights period. That's what noobs do. You're supposed to run in the blight, then unload heavy on the big blight. Faster you take that out, faster the boss spawns, faster you get it done.

Lol these attacking posts over a simple crack me up. Shooting the small blights affects nothing. All it does is slow it by a few seconds while the blight respawns.

You're an uninformed idiot. If you don't shoot the blights, the boss spawns, making it heroic. If you enjoy wasting time running around the map chasing the spawn like a moron, good for you, but you're doing it wrong. You need the blights to damage the main one, and you can't damage it if there's no blights.

Again, if someone shoots the little blight, it just spawns a new one at that same location. Then you can use that new blight to do the same thing you were doing. There's also no need for personal insults.

And again, there is NO REASON to blow up that first blight. The entire point of that event, is to make it heroic. You do that by destroying the big orb. You cannot destroy the big orb if morons are destroying it too fast and killing the enemies in the area to move the blight somewhere else. Nothing about anything you are saying is right. If no one touches the small blight and focus on destroying the orb, it turns heroic in less than 10 seconds, and you kill the boss in 10 seconds too. It is not rocket science. Anything else is unnecessary and a waste of time.

Also, turning it heroic is not the point or the only way. Otherwise, you would not be able to complete it without it going heroic.

Killing the enemies is what moves it. Not destroying the small blights. So many people kill the enemies so they can get shots on the big blight. THAT is what causes the big blight to move, not someone shooting the small blights.

I did. I just download osiris and warmind just 3 weeks ago. Did my first verse last week. But dominated EP several times in 2 weeks. 8 on hunter 3 on warlock. (Both 395 thanks to SoH event) and triumph points at 370.... i do work full time by the way. So its not like its impossible to do unless you really are playing without a brain lol.
