The app shows that requirement completed, but you still need to do the Homecoming redux mission.

Still need to do the Homecoming redux mission?? That is the very first mission one must do for the Solstice of Heroes and that is how you get the green armor in the first place, so why do I have to do the mission again?

No. The redux is through the smaller portals in middle of tower.

To do the mission, which I have done, first you go to the statue at the tower, then get transported to that new area with Ikora and start it at that portal right by her. If you have to do the mission twice, that is totally stupid!!

That is NOT the redux version. You need to visit the homecoming mission portal, which is 1 of the 5 around the railing in middle of tower.

Just verified with a clan mate and you are right. How stupid is this that you have to do the same mission twice, once to get the armor and again to "upgrade" it. I don't recall ever having to do that in D1. Guess I get to go kick some more Cabal, Caballs in the Homecoming mission!!

It does seem a little odd to do it twice, but the 2nd time through is different in the fact you can get the orbs + orb buffer, and I believe it was a slight variation than when you went through for initial time with Ikora.

Mine are stuck at 18% and ive collected so many already but it wont go up can someone help?

Read what the requirements are to collect the orb. they are different on each character. Some can only be collected on earth, some can only be collected in strikes, etc....
