Great question
Ultimately it's up to you
Your character looks up to a Titan. L5 is proof of that. This would provide a surrogate role model, if you will. Would also allow for character development as well as additional plot continuance.
On the other hand, a Hunter might work. Your character is a Hunter, so that might add some understanding/ similar ideologies between them. They might relate better, or maybe this causes a rift which they must bridge. It's up to you.
Personally, I think you should stay away from a Warlock. You already have one, with a developing personality. Unless you want to provide internal conflict within the cast, I believe a Warlock should not be used.
That said, it's up to you. You are the author. You can either make your story like a "Hero's Journey", albeit from a different viewpoint, or you could make it an irony. Maybe The Guardian has some serious personality problems. This will cause you to change the Class of The Guardian
Honestly, you must decide. Independent of what you decide, I look forward to reading your work. I love the fact you are invested in your story. There are some elements that have occurred in your first section that allow the story to take on different meanings. Open ended if you will.
I was reading a book called "How to Read Literature like a Professor" recently. Really goes into depth why works develop, and how to analyze different selections. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in writing, or literature as a whole
Cheers mate!
Keep up the great work!
Edit: Changed "writer" to "author"
Love it when people go into why the Guardian should be Class A versus Class B. Not going and saying “The Guardian should be this class because that’s the one I play.” When reasons are put behind it it makes the class fit so much better than it other wise would. Plus it adds the ability to add certain traits to the character.
I'm going to check that out. I used to write a lot in the past.
You thougts directly relate to mine. Its a tough choice and true it is up to me in the end, but this story isn't really about the Legendary Guardian. Laira-2 and her team are going to pursue their own story away from that.
All your reasons it should be a hunter, a titan, and not a warlock make sense. Im glad you enjoyed it brother! Cheers!
