2+ hour wait time for Whisper of the Worm.... Seriously!
We have 2 fireteams up waiting to continue trying the hunt for Whisper of the Worm, but NO!! 2 hours of cabal public events! Seriously! If we are supposed to keep playing your game then make it possible for us to try the special event!!!! We've had 4 times to try it, learn it, with failure at the last part with one boss left and we have to wait 2+ hours to try again!? Seriously we have wasted so much time doing NOTHING!!!! Fine making it difficult but making it just annoying is bullshit!!

A member of my clan pinged me in our discord to try the mission and I woke up 1.5 hours later. I got on, we waited, I left to eat, and he hasn't seen a single Taken PE in the 3.5 hours since he asked me to help him with it. Several people in the general chat said they have been waiting for 2-3 hours and one guy even said he was waiting for 7 hours.

Wtf is the point of having public events when they dont even happen in lost oasis. 6 events in the rupture, 2 in giant's scar, none in lost oasis in the span of 1 hour. Fix your shit bungie.

8 RepliesOh wait it gets even better. Now they're closing the anomaly until sometime next week..... So not only did we ha EA no notice other than a streamer who let us all k ow, but now bungies taking it away unlike all the other exotic quests we've had to date..... Im starting to lose faith in this game and it's all I've been playing for the past year. But for better get their shit together or destiny 3 won't stand a chance.

2 RepliesMultiple reports on the forums list 3:30pm EST on 7/22 as the last occurrence of the Taken Blight in Lost Oasis. This is as of 8:43pm EST, same day. Over five hours of the same -blam!-ing event, and now I haven’t seen one spawn at all, not even Cabal, in about 10-15min, as if it skipped a spawn.

How could you possibly fail 4 times? Once to learn the jumping puzzle is understandable but how can it take 3+ times to beat the ads?

We ran the mission twice in 3 plus hours and then had a fire team wait 2 and a half hours and nothing. It was already late so we quit. It’s stupid and ridiculous to wait so long for something that’s not a guarantee that your gonna get the weapon. Bungie had a great thing going with Destiny 1 and completely changed it on D2. Why would you mess up the golden goose???

Waited over 2 hours (starting about 9:20 PM EST) and then right before I was going to call it a night the Taken Blight event spawned (about 11:30 PM or so EST). We were able to beat it for the Spindle. We fly back to IO and guess what -- another Taken Blight event. So some folks had to wait over 8 hours and then we get the event back-to-back. Bungo strikes again!!! P.S. --all shortcuts still work (as they should since they are not glitches)

we've been sitting in Lost Oasis for 2.5 hours now. every single public event has been cabal. i'm not sure how many, but i know we were at 8 in a row when 1 of the guys we were with gave up. found another and have been sitting here since.
