It is 3 orbs per headshot if they are headshot kills.

Not true. Getting a precision hit gives a guaranteed two orbs. However the amount of orbs granted on a kill varies on the enemy itself. It goes from one on basic enemies all they up to three for Majors.

I always get 3 orbs on any headshot kill. On red healths and yellow healths.
