Destiny WAS built on player decisions, but not any more, they took that away with destiny 2.

Edited by NYC_InfamousNick: 7/17/2018 11:06:12 PMSome of it was built on player decisions. I'm pretty sure nobody asked for higher TTK in PvP or reduced super and ability cooldowns though. But people complained about random rolls, hard to get exotics, etc... and Bungie amped it to 11. Destiny 2 launch was nothing but a cash grab for the casual side of the Destiny playerbase. Bad at games? No problem. Enemies are tuned down, and power level barely matters, point and click and things die. Don't want to grind for that sweet high-end loot? Just come back once per reset and you're more than likely gonna get an exotic engram. In fact, play the campaign and you get 2 free exotics from 2 sets of 3. Exotics--the highest rarity gear available--from story missions that you can clean up with your eyes closed. Now all of a sudden the long-term fans and hobbyists mean something, but if you want to play the game that you asked for you gotta pay an extra $40. Pass.

I wasn’t talking about D2, thats when bungie took away all of our choice.

Edited by NYC_InfamousNick: 7/18/2018 5:21:23 AMI feel like D2 had more player input involved in it's creation than D1, hence why it's so crap. Bungie listened to the vocal minority and they screwed things up royally. That's not to say they shouldn't listen to the community, but they need to take advice from the people who play the game enough to form an educated opinion, not those who drop $60 for an hour of gameplay and abandon it.

You’re right tho, they’re actually forcing me not to buy destiny 3. They made that decision for me...

You cant trust that it wouldn’t be completely stripped down like D2.
