“ManofLight, TotallyNotThor, Snowy, Howard, Hammerfist, and Notorious, take down deatheater now! But don’t kill him!” Yells Cell-3 as he flies up into the air, firing at Alphos. Diana forms a bright yellow bubble between deatheater and Alphos, providing a temporary safe haven for the team. MagicSpaceKitty lies unconscious beside the medic, whispering random verses. Scott gently licks his owner before heading out for battle. Zen stays curled up in the bubble, staring at Alphos with wide eyes. Deatheater stares at the six members who had been assigned to take him down. He smiles, flashing a small fang, and he rushes at Notorious, who is now a snarling grey wolf. The wolf’s claws clash with Deatheater’s scythe, causing small sparks to fly and staggering Notorious a little. TotallyNotThor charges his hands with electrical energy, and he releases a small spiral of electricity-infused water out of his hands, hitting the Reaper in the chest and staggering him. ManofLight throws a small batch of Kunai at the Reaper, but Deatheater smirks as he backflips into the air, dodging all the kunai. ManofLight stares at the Reaper with surprise as Deatheater charges at the Shadow, dragging his scythe across his body. ManofLight groans in pain as blood pours out of his arm. As the Shadow looks up, a blast of moonlight hits him in the chest, throwing him to the ground as he vanishes into wisps. Deatheater laughs, leaving himself open for a few seconds before Hammerfist phases next to him, readying his sword. Deatheater takes a quick look at Hammerfist and blocks his attack with his scythe, parrying the Phase Walker’s jeweled sword. Hammerfist recoils a little before going for another strike, which is also parried by the Reaper as he effortlessly kicks Hammerfist to the ground... “Damnit! I ain’t going out without a fight!” Says Hammerfist as he jumps back up and swings again at Deatheater. The two duke it out, clashing blades as sparks shower from their weapons. Meanwhile, Notorious growls next to Snowy, who is positioned on top of a rock, having its sights on Deatheater’s head. Snowy pulls the trigger, and the sound of a gunshot echoes around the chamber among the sound of a Dragon’s roaring and explosions. Notorious, with the sound of the shot, rushes at Deatheater, who is temporarily dazed from the bullet. Notorious jumps onto Deatheater, knocking him to the ground, and begins to maul him with his claws. Blood begins to pour out of Deatheater’s chest with each claw swipe. Hammerfist watches with satisfaction. Deatheater looks at Notorious, on top of him, who is about to deliver another swipe, and the reaper smiles. The reaper kicks the wolf off of it, and begins to stand up as dark energy surrounds his hand. Hammerfist uses this moment to slice Deatheater’s chest, causing the red jewel on the Phase Walker’s sword to gleam. The reaper finds himself on fire, and he struggles to stop it. Hammerfist nods to Howard, who is flying above him with metal wings. Howard flies towards the Reaper and grabs him by the chest, being careful to douse the flames off of the Reaper before he grabs him. Deatheater is met with surprise as he travels higher and higher. He tries to free himself from Howard’s grasp, but to no avail. The Buzzard eventually reaches the roof, and he prepares to throw Deatheater down. Before he can let go of the Reaper, Howard is sent flying by a black whip-like object. Howard loses his grasp on the Reaper as he flies into the roof, crashing into a stalagtite. The Reaper’s dark wisps seem to make him float down. He looks next to him to see Alphos’ tail. He smiles as he descends, landing in front of Hammerfist, who is tending to his injuries. Deatheater raises his scythe as Hammerfist tries to raise his sword... “Your Journey ends here... the Reapening claims another...” Says Deatheater. The Reaper swings with full force at Hammerfist, with enough power to slice through his chest. Instead he hears a metal clang. The Reaper looks in front of him to see Artemis, her face filled with determination and tears. She had blocked the swipe with her bow. She backs off, grasping her large bow and notching an explosive arrow onto the string. The bow produces a whirring noise... “I didn’t expect this to happen. I... I’m so sorry...” says Artemis as she wipes a tear off and aims her bow at Deatheater. “The rest of you, go fight Alphos. It’s just Deatheater and me...” she adds as Howard, Hammerfist, ManofLight, Snowy, Notorious, And TotallyNotThor rush towards the fight behind them.
