But in the first mission Iof d2, we see zavala use a bubble shield, meaning he has light from the traveler. If the traveler can sense whos good and bad, wouldn't that mean he wouldn't have been born in the light in the first place?

Ok but Eris was a guardian and I'm pretty sure shes always been crazy and always sent me on suicide missions. Maybe the traveler in all it's wisdom is also insane. There's a fine line between sanity and insanity. I got off track but I'm pretty Zavala is fine.
